Hello there! I go by the name Miuki Miu, but my real name is Elizabet Oliveira. As a designer who is also skilled in coding, I strive to create innovative and engaging web experiences.

My journey in the tech industry started as a web developer, but I quickly discovered that my passion lies in the more visual aspects of the web. My love for interaction design, front-end technology, and animation is what drives me to create fun and engaging web experiences.

I am passionate about open-source. In April 2018, my project React Kawaii won the "Fun Project of the Year" award at React Amsterdam!

Music was also a big part of my life. I was the first female solo Hip-Hop artist signing to a major label (Universal Music) in Portugal. My songs reached the top of MTV Portugal's charts, but I soon realized that I was not meant to be an artist. I found out that I'm much happier designing, coding, and speaking at conferences all around the world!

Today, I am proud to work as a Senior Product Designer at Xata, where I can utilize my skills and creativity to develop innovative products. Besides my professional work, I enjoy mentoring other designers and developers and speaking at React conferences around the world. I strongly believe in fostering an open and supportive tech community, so my DMs are always open for anyone who needs advice or guidance.
